Voice Of Democracy Awards 2019
The local winners of the 2018-19 Voice of Democracy essay contest were recognized by VFW Petaluma Post 1929, and VFW Post 1929 Auxiliary. The celebration also honored the Patriot’s Pen essay winners, and the Post Civic Action Awardees. The Civic Action Award honors the Petaluma Law Enforcement Officer of the Year and the Petaluma Fireman of the Year. For photos and more on the winners click below.

Post 1929 meets the First Thursday of each month, 7 pm, at the Petaluma Veterans Memorial Building. Our Veterans Lounge is open one hour prior to the meetings. Join us and participate in local veterans and community events.
